1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Paletty ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Paletty is a social platform that allows users to capture and share daily colors through photos. Users can create posts, follow other users, and interact with content shared by the community. The App may also display advertising, including native ads in the feed.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
You must meet the minimum digital consent age required in your country or region to create and use an account.
For GDPR-related jurisdictions, this minimum age may vary by country between 13 and 16, and 16 applies as the default where no lower country-specific threshold is configured.
If you are below the applicable minimum age, verified parental or guardian consent is required. We may restrict account access until age information or guardian consent is properly verified.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the App.
You agree not to post content that:
- Violates any applicable laws
- Infringes on intellectual property rights
- Contains harmful, offensive, or inappropriate material
- Harasses or threatens other users
5. User Generated Content & Moderation
Paletty has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior.
By using the App, you agree that you will not post content that is defamatory, offensive, objectionable, or illegal. We provide mechanisms for users to:
- Report objectionable content or behavior.
- Block abusive users.
We review all reports within 24 hours. If you are found to violate these terms, we reserve the right to remove your content and suspend or permanently terminate your account immediately.
6. Advertising
Paletty may show ads served by third-party advertising partners, including Google AdMob. Ads will be identified as advertising within the App.
Your advertising privacy choices are handled as described in our Privacy Policy and in the App's privacy controls. Personalized ads are optional where consent is required, and refusing or withdrawing personalized ads consent does not prevent you from using the core App.
You agree not to fraudulently generate ad impressions, clicks, installs, or other advertising events, and not to interfere with ad delivery, attribution, measurement, or related security checks.
We do not control the content, availability, or destination pages of third-party ads. Interactions with advertisers or linked third-party services may be governed by those third parties' own terms and privacy policies.
7. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with other users' enjoyment of the App
- Use automated systems to access the App without permission
- Impersonate other users or entities
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
If you request account deletion, your account may be deactivated promptly so you can no longer access the service.
Deletion scope generally includes your profile, post-related metadata, social relationship records, and report records associated with your account, subject to applicable law and technical constraints.
Deletion of associated data is processed asynchronously and is generally completed within 30 days from your request.
Backup copies may remain for up to an additional 30 days before being deleted or overwritten in the normal backup cycle.
We may retain limited information when required by law or for legitimate purposes such as fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and security enforcement.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
